The Honest Start to Something New

My life isn’t tragic—it’s just stuck. Not in a “woe is me” kind of way, but in the sense that I know there’s more out there. I have the basics: food, shelter, clothing, and the occasional moment of indulgence when I tell myself I deserve something nice. Sure, I make a bad financial decision here and there—buying something I don’t really need or overspending because it feels good in the moment—but that’s not the real problem. The problem is that I know I want more.

I want to own a home, not just live in a space that feels temporary. I want to drive a nice-ish car that doesn’t need constant repairs. I want the freedom to buy a few nice things without worrying about how it’ll impact the rest of my month. I want stability, security, and yes, a little “f*** you” money to fall back on when life throws curveballs. And I want it all guilt-free, without feeling like I’m asking for too much.

Don’t worry, that’s the only swearing—I’m a work in progress, striving for grace, godliness, and a life that feels as good as it looks on the outside.

So, welcome to this space. It’s nice to meet you. Let’s figure this out together. Let’s dive in.
